The following volunteers are needed for Coon
Rapids-Blaine Meals on Wheels, which operates out of The
Camilia Rose Convalescent Home in Coon Rapids.
Treasurer
- This person is a member of the Board of Directors and is
responsible for depositing funds, paying payroll and bills,
filing fiscal reports and presenting cash flow reports at the
Board of Directors Meetings. The position requires
accounting and computer skills and the person should be
familiar with spreadsheet and budgeting programs. The
position normally demands about 4 hours per week of
time. If interested, contact either Janet Robidoux
(763-323-7371; twinflr@aol.com),
Myles Englestad (763-755-3534; englestadm@aol.com),
or Marv Hannah (763-784-6474; mdhannah@comcast.com)
Clerical Assistance - We are looking for persons
interested in spending an hour or so weekly or monthly to
assist with filing, mailings, folding menu inserts, and
similar duties to help the Meals on Wheels administrator.
Computer skills are not required but would be helpful.
Contact Marie Rudstrom (763- 489-3608; crbmow@yahoo.com)
Drivers - We are always in need of drivers.
Drivers pick up meals weekdays at 11:30 and deliver them to
about a dozen clients. This usually takes about an hour.
Drivers may volunteer through local churches associated with
the organization or may drive directly for the program on a
weekly or monthly basis. For more information, contact
Marie Rudstrom (763-489-3608; crbmow@yahoo.com)
2009 Per
Capita
"Per
Capita" Apportionment is assessed to each church by PCUSA to pay
for
various staff and administrative expenses of our denomination.
This is done on a
per member basis and, to the extent our assessment is not covered
by funds collected
directly for this purpose - note the per capita envelope in our
offering
envelopes - must be picked from the regular offering and our
general budget. The amount for 2009 is $30/member:
1 member family = $30
2 member family = $60
3 member family = $90
4 member family = $120
